It’s the first day of Spring and we are now 10 weeks until the 40th running of the BolderBOULDER 10k on Memorial Day and there are lots of great ways to get yourself ready to have a great race.

Our training partner Revolution Running kicks off its Spring training program this week. They offer multiple locations for workouts including Longmont and Erie and have coached pace groups so that you can run with others of your ability. There is still time to join their program.

The Denver Channel 7 will be posting tips each week leading up to the race. The first week features Revolution Running’s Head Coach Ewen North on how to start your training.

Week 1: Start slow and build to race day

If you are looking to take on your own training, the BolderBOULDER has training plans for beginner and intermediate runners on their website.

And of course the Dash & Dine is another fun way to keep on track as we get closer to the race. You can use the races each week to gauge your fitness and have a good time (and eat great food afterwards) in the process. And, you can use any of our chip timed races as an official qualifier to get seeded in one of the top 99 waves.
