The Dash & Dine 5k, Boulder’s favorite Spring tune-up series, is excited to announce its partnership with Orangetheory Fitness in Boulder.

“Orange Week”  will take place the second week of the series on April 18. Orangetheory Fitness will be at the race with their enthusiastic brand, cheering on runners and challenging them post race to extra fitness challenges if they choose to participate. There will be lots of great giveaways from them including a free One Month Basic Membership to Orangetheory Fitness.

Orange Week continues on Saturday, April 22nd where runners who participate in that week’s race can sign up to be eligible for a free 1 hour cross training session at Orangetheory Fitness Boulder in the 29th Street Mall (space will be limited to the first 30 who sign up – details to follow).

“Orangetheory Fitness in Boulder is so excited to help everyone reach their goals whether it’s making it to the finish line or setting a new personal best. Use the Dash & Dine paired with the best 1-hour high intensity interval workout to get your body ready for the BolderBoulder or any future race!” – Julian Wheating, Orangetheory Fitness Coach & Boulder Studio Manager

“Orangetheory is a fantastic and fun workout that is great cross training for runners. It’s high energy as you train in 3 different modalities which all help make you a stronger runner. That rowing kicks my butt each time. You gotta try it out,” added Race Director Todd Straka.

For those who would like to try some motivating cross training, the Dash & Dine 5k has a special offer: When you purchase an Orangetheory Fitness basic membership (4 classes for $59), show them your registration receipt for the Dash & Dine 5k, you will get 2 classes for FREE! You can use these 6 classes any time between April 11 and Memorial Day to help kick your spring training into high gear. The offer is good for all non-current members.

The Dash & Dine will kick off the series on Tuesday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Boulder Reservoir. Each race is electronically timed and will serve as a BolderBOULDER qualifier. But in the fifth installment, May 16th, two weeks before Memorial Day, the Dash & Dine will serve as the official qualifying race with wave assignments, on-site registration and bib exchange for runners who improve on their times. The Dash & Dine races are family-friendly and as the name implies, followed by a post-race party and hosted dinner as part of the price of entry.
